Sensations in the throat may be burning or prickling. May also have a fear of poverty or be obsessive about money matters. Emotionally, thoughts can be chaotic, and irregular.

2. Merc Sol:

For tonsil stones with bad breath, metallic taste, and may have other mouth issues with it like canker sores or teeth issues. Tonsils look swollen with white spots, the tongue can be coated in a yellowish tone. Gums may bleed easily or recede. Throat may feel burning and have a constant desire to swallow.

3. Hepar Sulph:

 For tonsil stones that feel like a sharp splinter type of pain, can radiate to ear. If there is any pus forming in the tonsils, mouth, or gums hepar sulph can be a good fit. May have some horseness in the voice. Typically feels very cold or chilly.

4. Phytolacca:

 For tonsil stones with difficulty swallowing, can be burning pains or rawness. Tonsils are swollen, especially on the right side, and are a dark/deep red. The spots look yellow/white in tone. Symptoms tend to be worse in cold, wet, rainy weather. Can feel pain underneath or at the root of the tongue.

5. Belladonna:

Tonsil stones with very red and inflamed tonsils could have a lot of heat associated with it. Pains may come on very suddenly, as if out of nowhere. Feels worse lying down and eyes may appear glassy. May have a hard time swallowing and describe the throat as feeling constricted.

6. Kali Mur:

Can be started as a cell salt for a gentle approach. Typically kali mur will have a lot of white nasal mucus with it or drainage. Tonsils become so enlarged it can feel hard to breathe. Patches on the throat or tonsils can appear gray. Glands around the jaw and neck may be swollen.
